Helsinki Hammam

Helsinki Hammam will be the first hammam of Finland, the first traditional Middle Eastern sauna with an urban Nordic twist. The raised funds will help us get started with the construction and our goal is to open in Autumn of 2020. Please support us in building the coolest urban oasis of Helsinki. <3

Tupuna Manner

Tupuna, the Mother of Hammam, is an urban millennial and a Finnish citizen with a globetrotter view of life. She has found the rich and relaxing hammam culture from her travels around the world. Ever since her first visit to a hammam she has dreamed of opening one in Helsinki. Tupuna has worked as a volunteer for Startup Refugees. She has a versatile background in music and sustainable law.

Baraa Couch

Our Hammam master Baraa is originally from Iraq and he is permanently positioned in Finland. Previously Baraa has worked as head coach for the Iraq national athletes’ team. He is now working at city of Helsinki as a sports coach to youngsters and children.
